EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains an important concept for believers to understand. It states that when a person dies and enters their grave, they will be asked questions about their faith. The answer to these questions should be a testimony of faith, which is “there is no true god except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”. This testimony of faith comes from verse 14:27 in the Quran which states “Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the firm statement [The Testimony of Faith] in this world and the Hereafter”. Therefore, it is important for believers to remember this testimony so they can answer correctly when questioned in their graves.
