Prohibitions in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) cursed those who practice tattooing, take usury, take the price of a dog, earn money through prostitution and make pictures.

Narrated Abu Juhaifa: The Prophet cursed the lady who practices tattooing and the one who gets herself tattooed, and one who eats (takes) Riba' (usury) and the one who gives it. And he prohibited taking the price of a dog, and the money earned by prostitution, and cursed the makers of pictures.
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَعَنَ النَّبِيُّ الْوَاشِمَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ، وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ، وَنَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ، وَكَسْبِ الْبَغِيِّ، وَلَعَنَ الْمُصَوِّرِينَ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Juhaifa and it talks about the prohibitions in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ cursed those who practice tattooing, take usury, take the price of a dog, earn money through prostitution and make pictures. Tattooing is forbidden as it is considered to be an act that changes Allah's creation. Taking usury or Riba' is also prohibited as it involves taking advantage of someone else's financial situation for personal gain. Similarly taking the price of a dog or earning money through prostitution are also forbidden as they involve exploiting other people for personal gain. Lastly making pictures has been prohibited as it can lead to idolatry which goes against Islamic teachings. These prohibitions are important to follow in order to maintain justice and fairness among all people regardless of their social status or financial situation.
