Spending for the Sake of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah encourages us to spend in order to receive His blessings.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "Allah said, 'O son of Adam! Spend, and I shall spend on you".
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَنْفِقْ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Huraira and it speaks about the importance of spending for the sake of Allah. It conveys that if we spend our wealth in a good way, then we will be rewarded by God with His blessings. The hadith also teaches us that if we are generous and kind towards others, then God will be generous and kind towards us as well. We should not forget that whatever wealth or possessions we have come from God, so it is important to use them wisely and generously for the benefit of others.
