Raise your hands during prayer/invocation with devotion and sincerity

This hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik tells us about the importance of prayer and invocation. It is reported that the Prophet raised his hands in supplication to Allah until Anas saw the whiteness of his armpits. This shows us how devoted and sincere he was when praying to Allah, as he was willing to raise his hands up high for a long period of time. It also teaches us that we should be humble and devoted when we pray, as it is an act of worshiping Allah. We should also strive to make our prayers meaningful and sincere, so that we can get closer to Allah through them.
