Sahih Muslim 93b (Book 1, Hadith 176) #7441
The Consequences of Associating Anything With Allah

SUMMARY: Meeting Allah without associating anything with Him leads to Paradise, while associating anything with Him leads to Fire.

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Abdullah: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: He who met Allah without associating anything with Allah entered Paradise and he who met Him associating (anything) with Him entered Fire.

QUICK LESSONS:
Worship only One God without associating anything else alongside him

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Jabir b. Abdullah and it speaks about the consequences of meeting Allah either without associating anything with Him or by associating something else with Him. If one meets Allah without any form of polytheism or idolatry, then they will be rewarded and enter Paradise. However, if one meets Him while engaging in polytheism or idolatry, then they will be punished and enter Hellfire instead. This hadith serves as a reminder for us to stay away from any form of shirk and always remember that there is only One God who should be worshipped alone - no other gods should be associated alongside him in any way whatsoever.
