Respect for others’ beliefs and backgrounds; Strive for peace and understanding between different people; Avoid resorting to violence or aggression when dealing with those who follow Islam's teachings; Refrain from drawing swords against the prophet's followers

This hadith, narrated by Iyas b. Salama from his father, teaches us that it is not acceptable to draw a sword against the Prophet and his followers. The Prophet was very clear in this regard; anyone who does so cannot be considered one of them.
