Seek repentance and ask for forgiveness from God; understand the consequences of not doing so; remember that even if people around you forgive you but without seeking repentance or asking for forgivingness one cannot be absolved of their sins; understand the importance of repenting one's sins in order to be forgiven by God.

This hadith is about seeking forgiveness from Allah. It teaches us that if we do not ask for forgiveness from Allah then He will neither speak nor look at us and there is a punishment waiting for us. We should always remember to ask for forgiveness and repent our sins as it is the only way to be forgiven by Allah. We should also remember that even if we are forgiven by people around us but if we don't seek repentance from Allah then He won't forgive us either.
