QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest and fair when dealing with others even if it means sacrificing your own interests for their benefit.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a certain type of transaction called Habal al-habala which was forbidden by Allah’s Messenger. Habal al-habala is a type of transaction in which one person sells something to another person and then the second person sells it back to the first person at an increased price. This kind of transaction is not allowed as it involves taking advantage of someone else for personal gain and goes against the teachings of Islam which promote fairness and justice in all dealings between people. The Prophet Muhammad taught that we should always be honest and fair when dealing with others, even if it means we have to sacrifice our own interests for the benefit of others.
