Seek forgiveness from Allah through prayer not only for yourself but also your fellow believers too; strive to emulate our beloved prophet in all aspects of life so that you may be blessed by His mercy & grace Insha'Allah!

This hadith is about the importance of seeking forgiveness from Allah. It was narrated by Abdullah b. Sarjis who said that he saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) eating bread and meat, or tharid which is bread soaked in soup. He asked if the Prophet sought forgiveness for himself, to which he replied yes, as well as for those around him. He then recited a verse from Surah Mujadilah which speaks about asking Allah for forgiveness for one's sins as well as those who believe in Him. Abdullah then went after him and saw a seal between his shoulders on his left side with spots like moles on it - this was known as the Seal of Prophethood. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek forgiveness from Allah through prayer, not only for ourselves but also for our fellow believers too; it also reminds us that we should strive to emulate our beloved prophet in all aspects of life so that we may be blessed with His mercy and grace in this world and hereafter Insha'Allah!
