EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the power of supplicating to Allah for forgiveness and mercy. It was narrated from Abdullah bin Amr and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq that they asked the Prophet Muhammad to teach them a supplication that they could recite in their prayer. The Prophet taught them a beautiful du’a which includes asking for forgiveness from Allah as well as His mercy. This du’a is an example of how powerful our words can be when we ask for help from our Creator, who is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful. We should strive to make this du’a part of our daily prayers so that we can benefit from its blessings in this life and the hereafter.
