Reciting Al-Mu'awwidhat After Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad commanded Uqbah bin Amr to recite Al-Mu'awwidhat after every prayer.

It was narrated that 'Uqbah bin 'Amr said: "The Messenger of Allah commanded me to recite Al-Mu'awwidhat following every prayer".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ حُنَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ عُلَىِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ الْمُعَوِّذَاتِ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ

This hadith is about the importance of reciting supplications and invocations after prayers. The Prophet Muhammad commanded Uqbah bin Amr to recite Al-Mu'awwidhat, which are two chapters from the Quran, following every prayer. These two chapters are known as Surah al Falaq and Surah an Nas, and they are meant to protect us from any harm or evil that may come our way. By reciting these two chapters after each prayer, we can ensure that we remain safe from any danger or harm that may come our way in life.
