The Benefits of Ghusl on Fridays

SUMMARY: Wudu is a good practice to do on Fridays, but Ghusl is even better.

It was narrated that Samurah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever performs wudu' on Friday, that is all well and good, but whoever performs Ghusl, the Ghusl is better'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudu/ablution and ghusl/ritual bath on fridays

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of performing ablution and ritual bath on Fridays. Ablution is a religious act in which one washes their hands, face, arms and feet with water. It is an important part of Islamic prayer and worship. Ritual bath or Ghusl involves washing the entire body with water as a form of purification before prayer or other religious activities. According to this hadith, it is recommended that Muslims perform ablution on Fridays as it has many benefits for them spiritually and physically. However, it also states that performing ritual bath or Ghusl would be even better than just doing ablution alone as it provides more spiritual benefits for the person who performs it.
