QUICK LESSONS:
Fast on the 13th 14th & 15th day of every month
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught his followers to fast three days each month - the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth. This is known as fasting during Al-Ayam Al-Bid or "the shining bright nights". It is a way for Muslims to practice self-discipline and piety by abstaining from food and drink during these days. Additionally, it serves as a reminder of Allah's mercy in providing sustenance for us throughout our lives. By fasting these three days each month, Muslims are able to show their gratitude for this blessing while also strengthening their faith in Allah's power.
