EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Hurairah who was one of Prophet Muhammad's companions. In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad is teaching us to ask Allah for protection against different kinds of harm that we may face in our lives. He teaches us to ask Allah for protection against being punished in our graves after we die, being punished in Hellfire after we die, facing difficult tests during our lives such as sickness or poverty, as well as asking Allah for protection against any kind of evil that may come upon us such as false prophets or false messiahs. By seeking Allah's protection through prayer like this hadith teaches us to do, it shows us how important it is to have faith in God even when things seem difficult or uncertain. It also reminds us that no matter what happens in our lives, if we turn to God then He will protect us and help guide us through any situation.
