Make supplications to God for protection against various difficulties faced during one's lifetime.

This hadith is about seeking refuge from Allah from various trials in life. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to make a supplication to Allah asking for protection against three types of trials; the trial of the grave, tribulation of Dajjal, and trials in life and death. The trial of the grave refers to when a person dies and their soul is questioned by two angels who ask them questions about their faith. Tribulation of Dajjal refers to a false messiah who will appear at some point in time before Judgement Day. Lastly, trials in life refer to all sorts of difficulties that we face while living on this earth such as poverty or illness. By making this supplication we are asking Allah for protection against these difficult times so that we can live our lives peacefully with faith in Him alone.
