The Power of Intercession

SUMMARY: Supplications made by one Muslim for another are answered quickly.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Prophet said: The supplication which gets the quickest answer is that made by one distant Muslim for another.

QUICK LESSONS:
Make du’as on behalf of other Muslims in need
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the power of intercession, or shafa’ah, in Islam. It teaches us that when a Muslim makes a supplication, or du’a, on behalf of another Muslim who is far away from them, their prayer will be answered quickly. This is because Allah loves it when we make du’as for each other and He rewards us for our good deeds. We should take this lesson to heart and strive to make more du’as for our fellow Muslims in need.
