Sunan Abi Dawud 1978 (Book 11, Hadith 258) #22270
The Lawfulness of Pebbles at Jamrah

SUMMARY: Throwing pebbles at the last Jamrah (Jamrat al-Aqabah) makes everything lawful except women.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah said: When one of you throws pebbles at the last Jamrah (Jamrat al-Aqabah), everything becomes lawful for him except women (sexual intercourse). Abu Dawud said: This is a weak tradition. The narrator al-Hajjaj neither saw al-Zuhri nor heard tradition from him.

However, sexual intercourse with women is still prohibited. This hadith teaches us about the importance of following rituals prescribed by Islam and also reminds us of our responsibility towards fulfilling our obligations towards Allah SWT.
