EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by AbdurRahman ibn Tariq on the authority of his mother tells us that whenever Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) passed a certain place near Ya’la's house, he would face towards the Ka’bah and supplicate. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to turn towards the House of Allah when making du’a or prayer. It also teaches us that we should make du’a often as it is an act of worship that can bring many blessings from Allah. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us to be mindful of our surroundings when making du’a so that we are facing in the right direction and not distracted by anything else around us.
