QUICK LESSONS:
Remain focused and undistracted during salat; strive for excellence in your prayers even if you don't have access to all necessary resources such as a sutrah; make sure your intentions are pure when performing your prayers so Allah will accept them regardless of whether there was an obstacle present or not during your prayer time .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was seen praying at a place adjacent to the gate of Banu Sahm without any covering or sutrah between him and the Ka’bah in Makkah, as reported by Kathir bin Kathir bin al-Muttalib bin Abi Wida’ah from his people on the authority of his grandfather. The importance of this hadith lies in its teaching that one should not be distracted while praying and should focus solely on their prayer with no distractions or interruptions around them; however, it also teaches us that if one cannot find a sutrah or any other form of barrier for their prayer then they can still pray without it but must remain focused and undistracted during their prayer time so as not to lose concentration or break their wudhu due to passing people in front of them while they are praying. It also teaches us that we should always strive for excellence in our prayers even if we do not have access to all necessary resources such as a sutrah for our prayers; instead we should focus on what we can do with what we have available and make sure that our intentions are pure when performing our prayers so that Allah will accept them regardless of whether there was an obstacle present or not during our prayer time.
