QUICK LESSONS:
Seek medical treatment when necessary .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the story of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) use of cupping as a medical treatment for a contusion on his thigh. Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which heated cups are placed on the skin to create suction and promote healing. In this case, it was used to treat the Prophet's contusion, which is an injury caused by blunt force trauma that results in swelling and pain. This hadith serves as an example of how even the Prophet himself sought out medical treatments when necessary and encourages us to do so too if we ever find ourselves in need of help. It also shows us that we should not be ashamed or embarrassed about seeking out medical treatments or advice from professionals when needed; rather, it is something that should be done with pride and dignity.
