Give out of your own free will with no expectations attached to it .

This hadith speaks about the importance of giving charity and how it should be done with sincerity and without any expectations of reward or return. Umar gave a horse in charity to be used for holy fighting, but then he was informed that the man put the horse up for sale. Umar asked Allah's Messenger if he could buy it back, but Allah's Messenger replied that he should not buy it as taking back what has been given in charity is not permissible. This hadith teaches us about the importance of giving charity with an open heart and without any expectations or conditions attached to it. We must give out of our own free will and accept whatever comes our way as a result, whether good or bad.
