Have good intentions and make efforts towards achieving goals despite any obstacles you may face

This hadith is about how people can still share in the rewards of an action even if they are not able to physically participate due to a legal excuse. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was on a ghazwa when he made this statement. A ghazwa is an Islamic term for a battle or military expedition. He said that even though some people were not able to join him on his journey due to having a legal excuse, they would still receive the same reward as those who did join him. This teaches us that we should not be discouraged if we are unable to do something because of circumstances beyond our control; Allah will still reward us for our intentions and efforts regardless of whether or not we are able to complete it.
