This hadith explains an important lesson about reciting the Quran during prayer. When Prophet Muhammad was in Makkah, he used to recite aloud so that his companions could hear it. Therefore, Allah revealed a verse telling him to recite neither too loud nor too low but in a moderate voice instead.
