Sahih al-Bukhari 3234 (Book 59, Hadith 45) #3092
Seeing the Angel Gabriel in His True Form

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad only saw the angel Gabriel in his true form, which was so large that it filled the entire horizon.

Narrated Aisha: Whoever claimed that (the Prophet) Muhammad saw his Lord, is committing a great fault, for he only saw Gabriel in his genuine shape in which he was created covering the whole horizon.
