EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the marriage gift that the Prophet Muhammad gave to his wives. A marriage gift, also known as a dowry or mahr, is an amount of money or goods given by the groom to the bride upon their marriage. In this hadith, we learn that the Prophet Muhammad gave each of his wives twelve ounces and a half ounce of silver as their dowry. An ounce is equal to five hundred dirhams, which was a currency unit used in Arabia during that time period. This hadith teaches us about how generous and kind-hearted our beloved prophet was towards his wives and how he provided for them even after they were married. It also shows us how important it is for husbands to provide for their families financially and emotionally in order to ensure their well-being.
