Respect marital relationships , Stay together even after divorce when possible , Follow Islamic teachings regarding physical intimacy in marriage .

This hadith discusses the Islamic rulings on divorce and remarriage. It is narrated from Ibn 'Umar that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad about a woman who had been married to one man, then divorced him before consummating the marriage with him. She then married another man but he also divorced her before consummation of their marriage. The questioner wanted to know if she could go back to her first husband or not? The Prophet replied that she cannot go back to him until he tastes her sweetness i.e., until they have sexual intercourse together after their remarriage. This ruling shows us that Islam places great importance on marital relationships and encourages couples to stay together even after divorce as long as it is possible for them both emotionally and physically.
