The Effects of Breastfeeding on Family Ties

SUMMARY: Breastfeeding creates the same familial ties as blood relations.

It was narrated from 'Aishah: that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your relationships with others, Respect your family members

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that breastfeeding can create the same familial ties as blood relations. This means that if a woman breastfeeds someone, they become related to her in the same way that they would be related to her if she was their biological mother. As such, it is not permissible for them to marry each other due to this relationship. This hadith teaches us about the importance of family and how we should respect our relationships with others, even if those relationships are not based on biology or marriage. It also reminds us of the power of breastfeeding and how it can create strong bonds between people who may not have been related before.
