The Unlawfulness of Suckling

SUMMARY: Breastfeeding does not make a marriage unlawful.

It was narrated from 'Aishah: that the Prophet Allah said: "Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) unlawful".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ خِدَاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

This hadith is narrated by 'Aishah and it speaks about the unlawfulness of suckling. It states that suckling once or twice does not make a marriage unlawful.
