Being Best to Your Wife

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that the best of people are those who are best to their wives, and he himself was the best example of this.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: the Prophet said: "The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be kind and respectful towards your wife. Strive for excellence in relationships with others including your spouse.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that the best of people are those who treat their wives with kindness and respect. He set an example for us by being kind and respectful to his own wives. This hadith emphasizes the importance of being a good husband, as it is one of the most important roles in marriage. It also teaches us that we should strive to be better than what we think is our best, as even the Prophet Muhammad was able to do more than what he thought was his own personal best. We should always strive for excellence in our relationships with others, especially our spouses.
