The House in Paradise for Khadijah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was told by Allah to give Khadijah the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of Qasab, and 'Aishah felt jealous of her due to how fondly the Prophet remembered her.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I never felt as jealous of any woman as I did of Khadijah, because I saw how the Messenger of Allah remembered her, and his Lord had told him to give her the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of Qasab".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be grateful for what you have been given; Follow God's commands without hesitation or doubt; Remember those who have passed away fondly.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's beloved wife Khadijah. It was narrated by 'Aishah that she never felt as jealous of any woman as she did with Khadijah because she saw how much the Messenger of Allah remembered her. Furthermore, Allah had told him to give her glad tidings of a house in paradise made from Qasab. This shows us that even though we may feel jealous or envious towards someone else's blessings or good fortune it is important to remember that these blessings come from Allah and are given out according to His will and plan. We should be grateful for what we have been given and not begrudge others their blessings.
