Give charity generously; Help those who are less fortunate than yourself; Free slaves whenever possible; Show kindness towards others; Be generous with your wealth; Respect all people regardless of their status or background .

This hadith speaks about the importance of freeing slaves, which was established by Barirah. It is said that she was given the choice to remain married when she was freed, and her husband was a slave. People used to give her charity and she would give it as a gift to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He would say that it is charity for her and a gift for us. He also said that 'Wala' is for the one who set the slave free. This hadith teaches us about how freeing slaves can be seen as an act of charity, which will be rewarded by Allah SWT in this life and in the hereafter. It also shows us how important it is to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves, such as those who are enslaved or oppressed in any way.
