The Choice of Freedom

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad gave a woman named Barirah the choice to stay with him or be freed.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: the Messenger of Allah gave Barirah the choice.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ تَوْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ خَيَّرَ بَرِيرَةَ
