QUICK LESSONS:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of swearing only by Allah. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever takes an oath, and swears, saying ‘By Al-Lat and Al-Uzza’ let him say ‘La ilaha illallah’.” This means that if someone wants to swear or take an oath for something they should not use any other name but the name of God - La ilaha illallah. This hadith reminds us to always remember God in our words and actions as He is the only one who can help us in difficult times. We must also be careful with our words as we are accountable for them on the Day of Judgment.
