Take your promises seriously and strive to fulfill them as much as possible

An oath is a serious promise that one makes to another person or to Allah. It is important to take an oath seriously and fulfill it as much as possible. Breaking an oath can have serious consequences for the person who made it. This hadith teaches us that if we make an oath and say "In sha' Allah" then we will never break our promise.
