Always be truthful with your words .

This hadith is about the consequences of swearing a false oath. It was narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said that whoever swears a false oath near his pulpit will take his place in Hell even if it is for something as small as a green twig. This hadith teaches us that lying and taking an oath falsely are serious sins and can lead to severe punishment in the hereafter. We should always be truthful and honest with our words so we can avoid such punishments. We should also remember that Allah knows all our secrets and He will judge us accordingly on the Day of Judgment.
