Be just & fair when dealing with other people's possessions as well as your own; Be honest & truthful when dealing with others; Reclaim your rightful property; Seek reimbursement from whoever sold you an item you later found out was stolen/lost; Respect other people's belongings & rights over them; Maintain peace & harmony within communities by being honest & just towards each other's belongings/possessions etc..

This hadith teaches us about rightful ownership of lost items. It was narrated by Samurah bin Jundub that the Messenger of Allah said, “If a man loses something or it is stolen from him, and he finds it in the possession of a man who bought it, then he has more right to it, and the one who bought it should ask for his money back from the one who sold it to him.” This hadith emphasizes that if someone finds an item they have lost or had stolen in another person’s possession, they have more right to reclaim their property than whoever purchased or acquired them. The buyer should seek reimbursement from whoever sold them this item instead. This teaches us about justice and fairness when dealing with other people’s possessions as well as our own.
