The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was known for his fairness and justice in all matters. This hadith shows us that even when it came to deciding which of his wives would accompany him on a journey, he chose to use a lottery system instead of favoring one over the other. This teaches us that we should always strive for fairness and justice in our dealings with others, no matter how small or insignificant the matter may seem.
