QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for justice and fairness when making decisions in our lives

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed judgement in cases where there was a dispute between two parties. He would take into account both a witness and an oath by the claimant as evidence to make his decision. A witness is someone who has seen or heard something that can help prove what happened in a case. An oath is when someone swears to tell the truth about something they know or have experienced. The Prophet Muhammad's judgements were based on these two pieces of evidence combined together so that justice could be served fairly for all parties involved. This teaches us that we should always strive for justice and fairness when making decisions in our lives, no matter how difficult it may seem at times.
