The Prophet's Prayer for His Family

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed to Allah to provide for his family.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah hat the Messenger of Allah said: "O Allah, make the provision of the family of Muhammad sufficient for them".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رِزْقَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ قُوتًا

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer to Allah for the provision of his family. He asked that they be provided with enough sustenance and resources so that they can live comfortably and happily. It also shows us how much love and care the Prophet had for his own family members.
