The Wish for Provision on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, everyone will wish they had been given the bare minimum of provision.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah said: "There is no rich man or poor man but he will wish on the Day of Resurrection that he had been given the bare minimum of provision".

QUICK LESSONS:
Focus on doing good deeds and helping others so that we can receive Allah's mercy and blessings in the hereafter.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how on the Day of Judgment, everyone will wish that they had been given just enough provision to get by. This means that no matter how much money or resources a person has in this life, it won't be enough for them when they stand before Allah and are judged. Everyone will want to have just enough to survive and nothing more. This teaches us that we should not be too attached to material possessions in this life because it won't help us in the next life. We should instead focus on doing good deeds and helping others so that we can receive Allah's mercy and blessings in the hereafter.
