The Inability of Creatures to Help Us

SUMMARY: Allah's Messenger ﷺ taught that no creature of Allah can help us in building something.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "I had built a house to shelter me from the rain and the sun, during the time of Allah’s Messenger , and no creature of Allah helped me in building it".

QUICK LESSONS:
Put your trust & faith in Allah alone ; Focus on strengthening your relationship with Him ; Remember His grace & mercy .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Umar, teaches us that we should not rely on any creature of Allah for help in constructing or building something. We should instead put our trust and faith in Allah alone. This is because only He has the power to provide assistance and aid when we are in need. It is important to remember that even though creatures may be able to provide some form of help, it is ultimately up to Allah whether or not He will grant us success and aid. Therefore, it is important for us to always put our trust and faith in Him alone.

This hadith also serves as a reminder for us not to become too reliant on the material world around us; rather, we should focus on strengthening our relationship with Allah through prayer and supplication so that He may grant us success in whatever task we undertake. Additionally, this hadith encourages humility by reminding us that no matter how much effort we put into something, without the grace of God it will be fruitless; thus teaching us the importance of relying solely on Him for all matters big or small.
