Sunan Ibn Majah 4166 (Book 37, Hadith 67) #33522
Relying on Allah for Protection

SUMMARY: The heart of a human being has an inclination towards every desirable thing, but if one relies on Allah, He will protect them from the pain of scattered inclinations.

It was narrated from 'Amr bin 'As that the Messenger of Allah said: "The heart of the son of Adam has an inclination towards every desirable thing, so whoever follows all of those inclinations, Allah will not care which one will cause his doom. And whoever relies upon Allah, Allah will protect him from the pain of scattered inclinations".
