QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to embody modesty in our lives as Muslims so that we can live according to the teachings of our faith.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explains that every religion has its own unique characteristic. In the case of Islam, it is modesty. Modesty can be defined as having a sense of propriety and decency in behavior and dress. It also means to have humility and not to boast or show off one's wealth or possessions. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to embody this quality in our lives as Muslims so that we can live according to the teachings of our faith. We should also remember that modesty does not mean being shy or timid; rather it means having respect for oneself and others around us while still being confident in who we are as individuals.
