Sahih al-Bukhari 3564 (Book 61, Hadith 74) #3406
Prostration of the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to keep his arms wide apart when prostrating, so much so that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Malik bin Buhaina Al-Asdi: When the Prophet prostrated, he used to keep his arms so widely apart that we used to see his armpits. (The sub-narrator, Ibn Bukair said, "The whiteness of his armpits")

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer ritual. When he would prostrate in prayer he would spread out his arms so wide that it was possible to see the whiteness of his armpits. This shows us how devoted and sincere he was in worshipping Allah and how important it is for us to do our prayers with full concentration and devotion as well. We should strive to make our prayers as perfect as possible by following all the rules and regulations prescribed by Islam while praying.
