He said: "One day Messenger of Allah stood amongst us to deliver a Khutbah. So he praised Allah, extolled Him, exhorted and reminded (us) and said: 'Amma Ba'du (now then)! O people, certainly I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger of Allah my Lord (the angel of death) and I respond. And I am leaving among you two weighty things: There first of which is the Book of Allah. In is guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it'. So he exhorted (us) (to hold fast to it) and encouraged it then said, 'And the members of my household, I remind you of Allah with regards (of your duties) to the members of my family"'. Muslim. QUICK LESSONS:
Hold fast to the Book of Allah , Show respect & kindness towards family members

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reminding his followers about two important things. The first is that they should hold fast to the Book of Allah - meaning they should follow its teachings and use it as a source of guidance in their lives. The second is that they should show respect and kindness towards his family members. This means that we should treat them with love and care just like we would treat our own families. We can also learn from this hadith that it's important for us to listen carefully when someone speaks because even if it's something simple like a reminder or an exhortation, it could still have great value in our lives.
