QUICK LESSONS:
Mentioning the Name of Allah before eating or drinking anything. Sharing blessings with others. Showing gratitude towards God for His gifts and provisions.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was once eating with his six companions when a desert Arab came and ate up the food in two mouthfuls. The Prophet then said that if he had mentioned the name of Allah before eating it would have sufficed for all of them. This hadith teaches us about the importance of showing gratitude to God by mentioning His name before we eat or drink anything. It is a reminder that everything we have comes from Him and so we should always remember to thank Him for it. We should also remember to share our blessings with others as this will bring us closer to God and increase our blessings even more.
