SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encourages us to read the Quran, as it will intercede for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.

Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, "Read the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection". Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Read & Recite Qur’an with sincerity & understanding ; Do Good deeds over Bad deeds ; Seek Forgiveness from Allah .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ encouraged us to read and recite the Quran, as it will intercede for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection. This means that when we stand in front of Allah on Judgment Day, our good deeds and actions will be weighed against our bad ones. If we have done more good than bad, then Allah may forgive us due to His mercy and grace. However, if we have done more bad than good, then the Quran can come forward and intercede for us by speaking up in our defense. It is said that this is because when we recite or study the Quran with sincerity and understanding, it becomes a part of who we are; thus making it an advocate for us on Judgment Day. Therefore, this hadith serves as a reminder to all believers to make sure they are reading their Qurans regularly so that they can benefit from its intercession when needed most!
