EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of praising and glorifying Allah. It is narrated by Abu Hurairah that Prophet Muhammad said there are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful. These two statements are “Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi” which means “Glory be to Allah and His is the praise”, and “Subhan-Allahil-Azim” which means “Allah, The Greatest is free from imperfection”. These two phrases have a great significance as they remind us of how powerful our Creator is. They also help us stay humble before Him as we acknowledge His greatness. Furthermore, these phrases can be used as a form of prayer or supplication when we need help or guidance from God Almighty. Therefore this hadith encourages us to always remember these words so that we can benefit from them both in this world and hereafter.
