QUICK LESSONS:
Ask for forgiveness from God in your prayers/prostrations .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of seeking forgiveness from Allah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to ask for forgiveness in our prostration by saying “Allahum-maghfir li dhanbi kullahu diqqahu wa jillahu, wa 'awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa alaniyatahu wa sirrahu” which translates to “O Allah! Forgive all my sins, the small and the great, first and the last, the open and the secret”. We should always remember that no matter how big or small our sins are we should always seek repentance from Allah as He is Most Merciful. We must also remember that even if we have committed a sin in private it does not mean that it will go unnoticed by Him as He knows everything. Therefore we must strive to be better Muslims by seeking repentance from Him at all times.
