QUICK LESSONS:
Make concise yet meaningful supplications/prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith reported by Aishah speaks to the power of concise supplications. According to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it is better to make short but meaningful prayers than long and drawn out ones. This is because when we are able to express our thoughts in fewer words, we can focus more on the meaning behind them and ensure that our intentions are pure. Furthermore, this type of prayer requires us to think deeply about what we want from Allah and how best to ask for it. By doing so, we can strengthen our faith in Him as well as increase our understanding of His greatness.

The hadith also teaches us that there is a certain beauty in brevity; when we are able to convey a powerful message without using too many words or phrases, it shows that we have mastered the art of communication and can effectively articulate ourselves without having to resorting to flowery language or excessive verbiage. Additionally, this type of prayer allows us for greater clarity in expressing ourselves which helps us connect more deeply with Allah during times of du’a or supplication.
